Self-Managed

FREE · THE DEFAULT

You own the code, hardware, and data. You manage the Twilio account, hosting, backups, and updates yourself. When you want changes, we scope them hourly. If you like being hands-on, or if you've got technical staff, this is the right fit.

You own everything · You manage everything

Care

MONTHLY · OPT-IN

We handle the operational layer. Text messaging costs covered, daily backup monitoring with alerting, quarterly security patches, bug fixes, a handful of hours of small tweaks per month, email support within one business day. Your user guide stays current — every change gets a matching revision. Annual on-site check-in for nearby clients.

You own everything · We manage the ops

Care Plus

MONTHLY · OPT-IN

Everything in Care, plus more hours of changes and small features each month, priority response (same-day), phone support, and new-feature scoping at a reduced rate. User guide kept current through every revision, with reprints on request. Right for clients whose business evolves fast — new sensors, new integrations, new quirks you couldn't predict when we started.

Active evolution · Priority response

Ad-hoc Hourly

HOURLY · NO PLAN

No subscription, no commitment. When something breaks or you want a new feature, you email us, we scope it, we build it, you get an invoice. Best for clients who want software that almost never changes — "set it and forget it" dashboards.

Only pay when you need us

The promise: Plans are service, not software. The software is always yours. If you cancel a plan, the dashboard keeps running exactly the same way. You just lose us — not the system.

Common questions

What happens if…

…something breaks?

A bug means the software isn't doing what the project proposal said it would. If it's a bug in something we built, reported within 6 months of delivery, we fix it free — that's on us.

…I cancel my plan?

The software keeps running. Exactly as it did yesterday. You take over Twilio billing, backups, and any maintenance yourself. We're happy to help you hand off.

…Blobby Labs goes out of business?

Same answer. You own the code, database, and hardware. Everything is self-hosted, no external dependencies. Worst case: you find another developer to help. The system doesn't stop.

…I want to switch plans?

Anytime. Upgrade, downgrade, or drop to Self-Managed. Prorated on the month boundary. No termination fees.

…I need help once in a while but not a monthly plan?

Ad-hoc Hourly is for that. No commitment, pay only when you call. Best for steady-state dashboards that don't change much.

…my business outgrows the software?

We scope a bigger project. Your original system is still yours. If you need to migrate data to something new, we'll help with that too.

…I want to add a new feature?

On Care or Care Plus, included hours cover small tweaks. Bigger features are scoped as mini-projects. On Self-Managed or Ad-hoc, we quote and bill by the hour.

…the user guide gets out of date?

Every build ships with a printed user guide. On Care and Care Plus, we keep it current — every time we change the software, the guide gets a matching revision. Care Plus includes reprints. On Self-Managed or Ad-hoc, the initial guide is yours to maintain, or we'll update it hourly when you want.

Not sure which plan fits?

That's normal. Tell us about your business and we'll recommend one.
